Oriental Medicine

Oriental Medicine comprises of a synergistic use of acupuncture, Herbal remedies (formulas), manual therapy (shiatsu and Tuina) and exercises according to the principles laid by traditional Oriental medicine (Chinese and Japanese).

Oriental medicine sees in all of our sufferings a disruption of a natural balance and is seeking to put us back on track by assessing how each of us ended up getting out of balance.

To do so we listen very carefully to the life story of our patient and verify our assumptions using refined diagnostic tools such as sensing the pulse, observing the tongue and palpating different parts of the body, particularly the stomach and back.

Once a clear diagnosis is reached, together with our patient we devise a treatment plan that comprises of using the wide array of modalities available in the clinic together with lifestyle tweaks the patient is advised to take.
